I had plans afoot this weekend.

We had soccer at Wentworth Falls – about an hour away in the blue mountains where it is freezing cold, so I only had minor plans for saturday, and they all involved waiting till Rod was at band practice and Tyler falling asleep ( Josh was at his fathers). All I wanted to do was some more knitting on monkey and a cardi I have started for either a cousins baby ( or if I have a girl mine!), and start my apron for the Crafty Mamas challenge. On Sunday I had planned to paint the trim of my house ( finally get Rid of the green!) and finish what ever sewing had to be done.

Dont make plans ever!! Tyler must have known something was afoot, did not want to sleep. So after I finally got him to sleep, had a freak out because the sensor light went off and I heard spooky noises ( oh and I stuck my finger in a light socket zapping my self – yes everyone my brain has left the building).

I got a reading, a planning a drawing and a cutting and that was it, oh a lil pinning. I was buggered, hardly what I had in mind, oh well, Ill make great strides tomorrow.

Sunday started off well, Whilst Rod was in shower and Tyler was eating breakfast I fiddled with my pockets and redesigned a part after inspiration hit Saturday night. Then we got Rid of the small one – fidely painting and Toddlers do not MIX!

We did the Trim. So great to get Rid of the Green. What I totally did not plan for is that – whilst it looks great, and Im pregnant and now very sore, after a car ride to pick Josh up, I could not move. Too much low bending and me Do Not Mix ( seems to be the theme of this post). Though after seeing how it looks, wouldnt swap it for the world. Im a happy girl! Have to do a lil touch up here and there, but overall total fabness!!

Anyway this is the house when we first moved in, In NOV!!

In all its purple and green Holiness – Please keep in mind that the majority of the rooms and the hall were these colour!!

And not just these colours

but filthy stained marked as well.

We did the cream and feature walls before we moved in, but seemed to never get around to the trim.

Now days it looks like this

Not a hint of green or purple to be seen!

And worth all the pain.

The only plan I have for today is to make Tylers dental app. I have learnt my lesson.
