No cats or fish ( borrowed off in laws) were harmed in the photo taking, children definitely not harmed because I never ever would hear the end of it!!

As well as growing Kooka Belly ( also was given the most wonderful baby shower from my SIL) and enjoying having my mumma in the same country!

I was going to photograph my Priscilla tickets I won, but I suspect a certain husband who is addicted to throwing out stuff he thinks is unimportant ( say like used tickets!) has had his way!

reading my stash of  Homepsun mags I picked up from the oppies, and the Dec issue of Maree Clair Idees

( post to be edited with pic after as I discovered the one I took was very dodgy!!!)

Playing with my Pom Pom maker

(and discovering my mother had the exact same set as a child!)

To make a couple of these

My own design as well, if any wants a know how! – very proud of my self, though it took a few dodgy ones to get here!

Playing with a circle cutter a friend gave me as a bunch of stuff she was cleaning out of her craft room

This was a muck around Im bored moment using the free Taronga zoo calender from my Sunday paper, joined with jump rings and magnets added on the back. Im thinking of grabbing the Vogue design I got free from the free book stash we add to in writing class and doing one a bit bigger for my wall.

While I was playing with this, Tyler helped himself to some wire and odd beads to make a mini garland for the tree. The wire was a lot easier for his lil hands to manipulate with the small hole of some of the beads.

The snow under my tree is cheap wadding for quilts.

And just because its hard to get ones of him, my boy after a paint skirmish party, the blue took three days to fully disapear, but he had the time of his life. They held it in thier back yard and tyres and camo nets everywhere. None of the kids wanted to leave.

This is the last week for all my activities ( writing was today). So to all the people, I do writing , kid gym or playgroup with, I have had a ball with you this year and hope to see you all in the next year!

Life is just plain wonderful

Joshua ( though maybe permanently stained blue from a paint skirmish party he attended this afternoon) is a great kid who gives me no ounces of trouble even though he is nine and a pre – teen. I have no hesitation in trusting him at all.

Tyler who can some times occasionally give me ounces of trouble, is still remarkably good for a three year old and has made the transition of moving to his own bed wonderfully and went to sleep with out any hassle tonight. He brings me flowers and gives me kisses, and is just plain cute.

Rod, my poor man, who tries hard to be perfect, dealt with the bed times and teeth brushing so I could watch the series final of packed to the rafters and ignored my suggestion of taking a peachie with him to work, because he knew I would like one latter today.

Kooka Belly who even though is very uncomfortable ( 35 weeks!!), is the gift of a third son, who after 2 years of trying i thought I couldn’t have.

My Mumma who is landing about now from France – with a copy of Maree Clair Ideas for me. My wonderful supportive Aunt deb has gone to get her

and I have great friends and terrific family out there, including my wonderful Dad and brother Davy, who I don’t get to see enough of, that are a tremendous support.

Plus even though I lack chocolate and more Peachie, I have books from the library so am no longer starving for something to read. and I had my kid free day today with my writing class.

Why is your life sometimes perfect?

My Self ( now back to being brunette), My Mumma ( who now lives in France), My sister ( who now lives in London)

a billion years ago at Joshies 5th birthday.

I was in such a feral mood today.
You know the Type – you want to kick puppies and smash plates ( but you don’t – well because you would have to clean it up and kicking puppies is not nice).
I tried to embroider – poked my self 5 times in 5 minutes, tried to knit – stuffed it so badly I frogged it. Tried to do some art home work, but Tyler kept putting his hand and foot on the page for me to trace. So just gave up and sulked.
Some of it had to do with being on the phone to virgin mobile three times and I still cant send the freakin pictures. I was trying to send some pictures to Shelli of the Easter eggs Josh, Tyler and I did.
The boys painted the moulds with coloured white choc ( it was only slightly warm definatly not hot), and then I later poured the choc in . It was a lot of easy fun, with very Fab results. That was our test batch so some we have given away. More will be done this week for Rod parents, and my Mumma if we are going to see her, if not I will wait till we see her next. I am thinking non Easter moulds would make a lovely birthday pres for some people. If I can find some lovely chocolate. I would like to get brave and try some with ………. Fillings.

I wrote this 2 days ago, before my computer decided to have a tantrum and refuse to work anymore that night.
But here are the photos.
Not to bad considering I didn’t do any set up and it went through 3 phones.

Oh and any Sydney siders. Josh and I went to the Australian Museum on Sunday for the dinosaurs, where in the guide book he discovered – nighttime Torch tours. He wants to go on one for his Birthday.

This is the plan for Sunday with my boy http://www.amonline.net.au/dinosaur-unearthed We missed our holiday date this year and since he has loved Dino’s since a young boy, this will be our date. Hopefully mum will be able to join us. Hopefully I can convince Josh for a quick stop in tapestry craft!&!
As for my date, he at the fruit shop today has decided that now, is the right time for soup, the fact its as hot as heck has not put him off in the slightest. So soup mix is soaking and tomorrow I get to try and find ham bones.

Speaking of things that go in your mouth. My wonderful sister in law Meagan ( not to be confused with my sister Megan, and actually just to get more confusing my sister in law also has a son called Joshua) got her sister who owns a restaurant to order me in some lime milkshake stuff! I’m in heaven. This is my all time favourite drink in the world, and I can not wait to get some milk and ice cream tomorrow!

I had my art class again today ( yes actually got to go for more then half an hour – Tyler is on the mend! ) and I gotta say I’m quiet impressed with myself. I did a realistic looking vein! and my blending light medium and dark as he keeps repeating is a million times better. I have some homework so hoping to find some child free time!

Crafting wise have been doing some knitting, and some embroidery form the prize I won in handmade. But other then that its just writing homework and drawing.

Tomorrow is my second writing class. All week Josh has been saying do you want to do our homework together Mum?

He finds it amazing that I have homework as well, and keeps asking what I have to do. He likes the idea that my home work is writing a  story and doing some drawings.

Speaking of stories. Josh has been writing the most amazing story. It is a chapter story called

Quest to Save the World

It is about Tyler and Joshua fighting all these bad things ( dragons, giants, grizzly bears – they started to fight the polar bear but stopped in time so they could ride it instead.) to save the castle.

No sewing got done last week. I have been incredibly slack and still haven’t sewn his library bag, so I’m going to try and sneak it in between getting home tomorrow and Tyler getting home from Nan and pops. Wish me luck. I also want to do http://blog.creativekismet.com/2007/10/27/pillowcase-tote-tutorial/

It will be perfect for carrying my writing books.

I started my Creative Writing course today. I loved every second of it. It was just what I needed. We did some writing exercises in class, and I have some homework. I definitely needed this for my self.

We did a exercise and I actually started crying while reading it out – actually Im a bit embaressed about that. I think it will be good for me though.
I hope the art class will be just as good.
Do you want to hear something naughty?
I drew on the walls. My bedroom wall was just staring at me, so with some of my chalks I drew. (I didnt mind if it didnt come off properly ( for those not in the know we brought our very first house last nov) cause its still to painted.) It did and I will draw on my bedroom walls again.
Joshua asked if he could draw on his walls, so I agreed as long as Tyler wasnt around, as we have just had discussions about that – though it was in my hallway with permanent marker. Joshua has my mothers genes. He is pure artist. He is most happyiest when drawing, and his amazing imagination lets him be so creative. He is 9 in may, I really hope he can hold on to his imagination as he grows.
