Finally finished monkey, actually finished the night before last, just kept forgetting to take it outside for photos. The light has already gone today ( bring on spring!) so I just did them in side so I could put the photos up!

Poor Monkey got lots of love whilst sewing and reknitting some feet which went wandering. Lots of kissed but since its been finished not much love. Poor Monkey.

This pattern was a pain in the BUM! Lots of tedious small knitting and truthfully I think its goofy looking, thought it before I made it but what little boys want……

So Cheeky Monkey By Fiona McTague   Rav link behind name.

Started a new project covering a chair that was given to Tyler by his cousin. Its a Tyler sized arm chair. It was covered in a filthy blue star pattern. I finally got around to start recovering it today. I had the choice between a classy yellow or funky kid stripes. Funky kid stripes won out.

Midway because I forgot a before Pic.

Where I left off this afternoon.

Its a boy! Yes we are having our third baby boy. Cooper is expected to be here on the 30th of Dec – from this scan. However we all know babies come when ever they want! Tyler cant say Cooper properly so calls him Kooka. Im not sure if Im just hyper sensitive or not, but people seem to be saying oh well you can try again next time, instead of congrats! Im Excited to be having another boy, and would just love people to say Oh thats wonderful congratulations.

Now that I know who is in there, we have plans for his and Tyler’s shared room.

I had planned  to start drawing out a mobile I want to try my hands on, though instead played interior decorator all afternoon. camera is in the now fancier bedroom which is very far away ( up the hall and I CBF walking that far!)

I hate sewing up monkey parts. I finally dragged my but down to knit that bloomin tail, and am now sewing up. Never again will I make something that has so many little parts. Tyler is very impressed though.

Its my birthday soon, and it was decided that I wanted a new camera. Now due to lack of funds I had assumed this was going to be put of till August(!), thanks to Kmart’s 40% off digital cameras and lay-buy I have one on lay-buy and thanks to OT I should have it in my hot Lil hands soon. I’mso excited. ( I’m also very excited about some purple type uggish boots I have picked out for mothers day – very “warm” for lack of a better word. There is nothing like a bit ofdagginess in your life!)

Mum and Pip are off to France come August. Excited but sad too, I will miss you mum, even if you drive me batty sometimes!

I have taught my self some  entrelac knitting , very proud of my self, it looks darn impressive!! Even if i did have to rescue it from Tyler when he tried to help ( knitting needles found in the hall, minus knitting which was located in the bedroom. Rotten child!

And for slight craziness, I have decided I want to make cheese. So books on reserve list at library and website searching is underway. I’m thinking of starting with mozzarella

In da house! Half an hour was spent at my writting class before I had to come and resuce the beeb from his hiding place -under his nans bed. Poor lil sick boy.
So have been stuck on the couch watching bad kids telly. Luckily I got to go to the library for some books I had on reserve, before i got Tyler – bend the rules sewing and some knitting books. Books will keep me sane.
Still on the search for the right winter hat – I do love those 2 I posted about below and have started the puffy slouchy one – but it went of on a tangent. I think I would like a knitted beret – if I only I could find one that does not involve – DPNS!

A wonderful friend of mine is having a baby ( yes I’m totally jealous, but after 17 months am beginning to accept reality). We met on the train, when pregnant with our first children ( now almost 9!), and then when we bumped into each other at our hospital appointments it was on. This will be her second baby, and her husbands first. As these are people who will appreciate any handmade stuff I do for the bubs, I’m letting my self plan like crazy.

I’m thinking

filled with

and some bibs ( handmade),

 singlets, socks,

hats – I’m thinking Cabled Greenspun Beanie from the book Nature Babies , and either a simple crochet beanie or a stocking stitch one

very cute crochet booties

the cutest knit booties in the world

And If I can figure out the DPNS

> Elephante

I got my shade card in the mail from ozeyarn, and so am touching and dreaming what they will all look like.
