No cats or fish ( borrowed off in laws) were harmed in the photo taking, children definitely not harmed because I never ever would hear the end of it!!

I cant get flickr and my blog to work together, so please click the link to see.

Id love more helpful comments if any one wants to

We took Tyler to feed the duckies, today and I had a play with my camera ( Josh was at his fathers again – normally every second weekend, but there has been a few things on, on his fathers side – we have a very liberal verbal agreement.)

Im doing this free online photography course as part of a group I found via EB, being held on Flickr.

This is the course

this is the group

and these are my first 2 assignments ( given at the end of lesson one)

Assignment 1 – One abstract Photo based entirely on some of the composition rules. Subject should not be recognisable.  There was one duck just facing away from us wagging his backside, just like a dog, So thought I should try my luck.

Assignment 2 – pictures of a subject from various view points, post best 2 or 3.

The only thing Im not happy about is the day was very overcast and I wished for better natural light. actually I think the photos look sharper over at Flickr as well?!?

And this I just couldn’t resist of my silly boy, who when over hearing me mention that I wanted to make a pie for this weeks baking, suggest a underpants pie. Toilet talk reins supreme here.

and my Flickr page if anyone is interested. First time I’ve used Flickr. So not much there, every thing else is held in my photobucket account.

No crafting to show for the last few days as I have been crashing very early.

PS We got our first real Halloween “trick or treaters” last night ( Australia does not do Halloween much to Joshua’s disgust!), and ran out of lollies (lollies = candies for non Aussies, a bag of Red Skins to be exact). Very cute little patches of children came most dressed up and no scary teenagers ( the only other ones we have ever had was 2 scary teenagers – non dressed up a few years ago), very glad I stopped to get a bag just in case, next year might take the boys up the street and grab and extra bag. The only downside the ones that came at 10 to 9!!!!! and scared me half to death as I was nodding off on the couch!
